A gentle crimson spirit lures your entire being crumb by crumb into an enchanted forest. Sarsaparilla sprites, nymphs, and pixies sing woodland songs of perfectly ripe mulberries and snow melting on river stones. You are filled with both the gentle welcome and total disbelief. The palate eases in and explodes just past the tip of the tongue into a three part harmony of spiced red fruit. Exquisitely fine tannins grip the palate like vintage shetland wool while you unconsciously exhale a whoosh of delight in step with the songs of the forest. 

On the nose: delightful berries tossed in baking spice. On the palate: supreme elegance and finesse. Though ethereal in weight, the flavors coat the mouth, the tongue, the gums, and persist through to the back of the neck where you whisper out a barely audible Yeahhhhh! 

This is a statement wine. It does not shout and it does not rock. It speaks clear and thoughtful truths of where we’ve been, where we are, and where we are going.
