The nose opens with nutmeg-dusted pomegranate and spiced red fruit, high-toned and laser precise. Dried leaf, wet pine, and a green flash of something herbal keep it honest and grounded. Then comes the orange: orange tootsie pop, Grand Marnier, a candied peel that shows up on the finish like the best possible surprise.

The palate delivers real body and glycerin for a wine that is this light on its feet.
